CAR RENTAL One of the most popular services for free movement on the coast is car rental. Car hire is a cheap affair, for a long weekend (3 days) the price is around €60. We recommend two proven companies, Malagacar or Centauro. Renting a car is very fast and simple. The car rental service also provides a transport from and to the airport when renting and returning your car. Their staff will wait for you at the departures and navigate you to the minibus which will then transport you to the rental office. Similarly, when returning the car, they will provide a minibus to transport you to the airport, free of charge. Be sure to book your car at least 2 days before departure. On the website you can choose which car you are interested in. It can also be a cabriolet. |

TRAIN JOURNEY FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE NEAR SURROUNDINGS Few people know that right at the airport there is also a suburban railway stop, which is the fastest transport directly to the center of Malaga, or nearby resorts (Fuengirola 20 min.). Trains run every 20 minutes and you don't have to buy a ticket in advance. Before departure, be sure to check the current timetable, the last train from the airport usually departs around 1am. |

TAXI FROM AIRPORT Right at the airport, just outside the exit, is a fleet of taxis that can take you to nearby destinations about 15 minutes from the airport for 25 Euros. Uber is also available; they usually have better prices than traditional taxis. |
