WHY MOVE TO SAN PEDRO ALCANTARA?

San Pedro Alcantara offers the perfect Andalusian atmosphere, beautiful views and excellent foods and drinks.

Just 15 minutes along the coast from Marbella is San Pedro Alcantara, a traditional Spanish town with fantastic views of the Sierra de Ronda Mountains. The history of the town dates back to the end of the 18th century, when it was an agricultural community specializing in sugar cane production.

The city is divided into two distinct parts: the old town and newer residential development near the beach. The old town has an amazing Andalusian atmosphere. Head to its beating heart, Plaza de la Iglesia, home to a beautiful church surrounded by narrow streets. Walk the surrounding streets and discover some interesting independent local shops. If you feel hungry, you can taste delicious tapas in one of the many restaurants and bars in town.

You are a short walk from the beach where you can find a large selection of restaurants along its palm promenade. There are plenty of charming chiringuitos beach bars as well. The area's fertile agricultural heritage means that a lot of delicious local produce gets into all the cuisine, not to mention an excellent fish from the Mediterranean Sea.
