Enter Doñana National Park and explore the vast natural treasures hidden inside - swamps, mobile dunes and unique species. There is almost 110,000 hectare of protected area in the Doñana National Park making it the largest wetland in Western Europe. The swamps of the park are fully dependent on rainfall and they provide shelter to hundreds of waterfowl species. Pack your camera as you will see flamingos, storks, gray herons, shiny herons, night herons and many more species unique for the area.

TABERNAS DESERT (ALMERÍA)

The Tabernas Desert in Almería is located in the middle of Andalusia. It is considered the only desert area on the European continent and provides impressive and breathtaking scenery. If you have never visited this place, make sure to do so next time. It looks completely different from the typical Andalusian scenery.

SIERRA NEVADA (GRANADA)

Set in the beautiful city of Granada, Sierra Nevada mountains are one of the Andalusian natural wonders. In mountains such as Veleta (3300m) and Tajo de los Machos, among the natural rock slits you'll find unique species such as the purple Sierra Nevada or Plantago nivalis. Glacial valleys such as Siete Lagunas (Seven Lagoons) are also located at this altitude, while leafy forests of oaks, maples, cherries and chestnut trees dominate the area below. This setting is ideal if you like to ski. Come to the Sierra Nevada to enjoy sights and also skiing from November to May. Over 20 peaks rise more than 3000 meters above sea level!

EL TORCAL, ANTEQUERA (MÁLAGA)

Another natural wonder of Andalusia is located in Antequera, more specifically in El Torcal. It is one of the most significant karst landscapes in Spain. In El Torcal, limestone rocks have been adapting to the landscape over many years. Many valuable prehistoric fossils were found in El Torcal as well. Its ridge-shaped rock formations and most famous rock "screw" create a remarkable view. In addition to the unusual landscape, you can observe the stars at the observatory. This place is a must-see for its beauty and natural riches.

CAMINITO DEL REY Y DESFILADERO DE LOS GAITANES (MÁLAGA)

In the area of El Chorro in the province of Málaga is the Caminito del Rey, immersed in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes. It is a three-kilometer-long and one meter-wide pass handing to up to 100 metres above the river, in the almost vertical walls of the cliff. The pass gives those who dare to approach an eagle's view. You will enjoy nature and fresh breeze in the heights of this beautiful landscape.

BOLONIA BEACH, TARIFA (CÁDIZ) - PLAYA DE BOLONIA

The fine golden sand dunes are one of the most impressive natural wonders of this place. Near the beach, the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Baelo Claudia are in excellent condition. SIERRA DE CAZORLA, SEGURA AND LAS VILLAS (JAÉN)

Sierra de Cazorla is one of the most visited places in Spain. Its natural wealth is based on biodiversity and UNESCO considers it a biosphere reserve. Located in the province of Jaén, here we find the largest area of pine forest in Spain, where four of the six Iberian species are represented. Its fauna is rich and diverse, deer and wild boars stand out, as well as significant populations of bighorn sheep and fallow deer.
